Smart templates

Smart templates are a way of using English language to describe a diagram template.

Diagram description is sent to a ChatGPT powered endpoint from which the diagram markup is extracted and the description discarded.

Open the templates dialog from the toolbar and click on the Smart Template section on the left side.

Input the diagram description in the text field and select the appropriate diagram type from the dropdown as shown on the screenshot below.

Pressing Enter or clicking the Create button will send the diagram description to the backend for processing.

Once the markup and the preview are generated, template can be edited in the editor.

The add-on does not collect any data users generate using Smart Templates feature.

All data sent to ChatGPT is user agnostic and OpenAI privacy policy applies here.

In short, even if there is data collection by OpenAI, it is not traceable to any one customer or user.
